How do I check the availability of The Rockets for my wedding/event?
To check on availability please drop a mail to info@thedublinrockets.com or text/call 0871307059

My wedding/event is in 2013/2014 or 2015, is it too early now to book the band?
No, we have bookings as far ahead as 2014, it is never too early to book a date. Our calendar fills up pretty fast

What is the cost of booking The Rockets for my wedding/event?
The price of a booking depends upon a few variables; location, duration and the desired services. Our prices are reasonable and competitive. Please drop a mail to info@thedublinrockets.com or text/call 0871307059

How long does the band play for on the night?
This is really determined by the client. The average length of a performance is 2 hours playing time with a small 10 minute break in between sets. This is usual wedding band protocol. However, we can play longer or shorter sets, and either would alter the price quoted. We are very flexible and accommodating, chat to us, its your big day, we want to help in making it as enjoyable as possible.

Will the band play music other than 1950s
In general, no, 1950s is our passion and our unique approach to playing live. However, we do enjoy creating Rockabilly versions of other styles of music, new or old. If you give us enough notice, we may be able to add other songs into a 1950s style for the night.

Will you play the couples 'first song' of choice?
Yes. It's traditional at Irish weddings for the bride and groom to dance to a special song of their choosing. Given enough notice we can - within reason - learn and perform this song. Alternatively, we can supply the song in its original form through an iPod or CD.

Do you supply a church music or wedding reception service?
For church music, no. This is an area covered very well by dedicated artists. Our style of rock n roll - acoustic or electric - would probably be deemed inappropriate for churches. However, if you are getting married in a civil service, and you would like to have certain 50s ballads performed, we can certainly discuss it with you. Likewise, if you wish to have the same performed in a church service and have had this approved by the ceremonial priest, we may be able to accommodate your request.
Regarding wedding reception music, we would be available to provide a stripped back acoustic set as your guests arrive for drinks.
Alternatively we have many professional contacts in the music industry who specialise in this area and we will be happy to recommend them to you.

Do you supply a DJ service?
We can indeed. However, like our live music, we deliver certain styles. We would be able to provide a very exciting and entertaining DJ selection of music from the 50s to the 80s. This would include 50s Rock n Roll, 60s, 70s and 80s Rock, Disco, 60s Soul, Ska, Reggae and Punk/New Wave. We would not possess records of a contemporary chart nature. If this is your desire you would best be advised to engage a DJ who specialises in this area. Again, we know many such DJ's and would be happy to recommend them to you.

What does the band wear and how are they presented on stage?
The Rockets are a classic 4 piece Rock N Roll group comprising Acoustic and Lead Guitars, Bass and Drums. All 4 members provide vocals on stage. The band are lifestyle 1950s enthusiasts and are in 'costume' both on and off the stage. We don't wear cheesy Showaddywaddy suits on stage to look 50s. No offence to any Showaddywaddy fans reading :)
For performances we tend to wear dark smart-casual outfits, classic bowling shirts, dark jeans with turn-ups and boots. Please check our gallery page for an idea of our dress code.

Do you require a deposit?
A deposit is a secure way of confirming your booking, and provides peace of mind for both the artist and client. We take deposits in various forms of payment, please chat with us for details. 10% of the fee is customary.

Ideally for me, I would have a 40-41mm wide SBGX with the quartz movement and the rolex replica uk profile. Both are good options though. Grand Seiko watches are available with either quartz, mechanical, or Seiko Spring Drive movements. While all are good choices, I have to admit that I am more drawn to their quartz and rolex replica uk Drive offerings. It isn't that Seiko doesn't make excellent mechanical movements - they do. It is rather that no one else offers rolex replica uk like their high-end quartz or Spring Drive movements. Their 9F series of quartz movements found in the rolex replica uk Seiko SBGX range are accurate to within about 10 seconds a year, have self-adjusting super precise hands, can handle replica watches uk hands compared to standard quartz movements, and are just a beauty to see operate, as that rolex replica uk hand ticks with amazing stability.
